The bill that will put an end to unverifiable electronic voting machines has passed out of committee and has 222 sponsors. Yet it still hasn’t come to the full House of Representatives for a vote! This bill would require paper records for every vote cast and would require random, routine audits to make sure your ballot was counted correctly. Time is running out! If we want to have secure and accurate elections by the presidential election of 2008, Congress must act NOW. We need to remind Members of Congress how many votes have been lost, flipped and switched on unverifiable electronic voting machines. Urge your Representative to call for a vote on HR 811, The Voter Confidence and Increased Accessibility Act of 2007.
